This one is featuring 70's icon Jackson Browne, conga queen Sheila E. and Andy Vargas singer for Carlos Santana. This Holiday CD has something for everyone from jazz to rock to blues. This CD contains originals and traditional songs from numerous artists go to SafetyHarborKids to purchase the disc and support orphans and homeless children's college, career and art programs.
More than 20 top music industry heavyweights have come together to
contribute to Safety Harbor Kids Holiday Collection to benefit orphans and
homeless children. Featuring such names including activist Jackson
Browne, conga queen Sheila E., rocker Billy Idol, and longtime greats such
as singer/songwriter Jimmy Webb, Fred Tackett and Paul Barrere, this
collaborative effort of mostly traditional holiday songs has something for
everyone. Mixed by Grammy winner Ed Cherney and mastered by Life Time
Achievement Award recipient Doug Sax at the Mastering Lab, this CD boasts
more than 10 Grammy's collected by the various artists involved as well as
several platinum album sellers. With contributions and support from a
multitude of other stars including Peabo Bryson, Paige O'Hare (Beauty and
the Beast), latin crooner Andy Vargas (Santana), mariachi sensation
Gilberto Morales (Linda Ronstadt), Little Feat members Billy Payne and
bassist Kenny Gradney, this eclectic compilation includes many holiday
favorites with a couple of interesting twists like a jazzy Rudolf, and an
English/Latin version of "Little Drummer Boy".
With proceeds going to help kids who live in foster homes and homeless
shelters, Safety Harbor Kids teaches music, art, college, career and
personal growth to the children through the power of giving.
