(New York, NY) — KATIE GOT BANDZ, the fiercest female MC in Chicago, is set to release a full-length album in 2014 on Lawless, Inc./Entertainment One (eOne). Her current single, “POP OUT” features King Louie and is one of the most heavily played songs at both WPWX and WGCI in Chicago.
“POP OUT” with it's lo-fi catchiness and gritty street lyrics, perfectly exemplifies Drill Music, a key sub-genre of Chicago hip hop. Drill is hard-hitting and nihilistic, a soundtrack to the climate of the Chicago streets. Check out the video for “POP OUT” here.
